On Monday, MMS kicked off with an assembly to kick off the Great Kindness Challenge. Thousands of schools are taking part in this challenge to promote kind, safe and peaceful schools.

Our school goal is to collect as many new or gently used toques, mittens, scarves and/or warm socks for Today House in Steinbach to help those in need.

Students are also encouraged to read and sign the Kindness Pledge outside the library.

All week long students will be encouraged to do purposeful kind acts. Students will reflect and make their plans during homeroom time at 12:50 PM daily by completing and reading this checklist.

Students are encouraged to get involved in the theme days all week as well

Today is Silly or Mismatched Sock day which has been a hit!

Wednesday is Team Kindness or Jersey or school colours/gear day.

Thursday is Tip Your Hat to Kindness Day or Hat Day

Friday is Sea of Kindness Day and everyone is encouraged to wear blue.

Students can get involved at lunch this week as well:
