French News

Congratulations to Kayden and Julia who represented Hanover School Division and Mitchell Middle School at the Concours d’art oratoire. The Concours d’art oratoire is an annual French public-speaking event for schools throughout the province. Divisional winners compete at the provincial competition, which is held every year at the University of St-Boniface in May. Julia won first place at the grade 7/8 level for prepared speeches! Félicitations!

HSD Arts Fair

MMS is seeking art submissions from its students to be displayed at the annual HSD Arts Fair, displayed at Clear Spring Mall in Steinbach. Mrs. Hildebrand will be selecting approximately 24 artworks from MMS students in grades 5-8.  Any student can enter. Mitchell Gets Some Tidying

On Monday, May 9 Mitchell Middle School students carried out our annual Town Cleanup event. Groups of teachers and students spread out all over Mitchell to pick up litter to help beautify our community. Thanks for driving safely around our students!

The Power Smart Manitoba Games are the province’s largest ongoing multi-sport program bringing together participants from across the province.
