Mitchell Middle School’s New Principal

Mr. Andrew Mead has been appointed to the position of Principal at Mitchell Middle School, effective fall 2016. Mr. Mead joins the Hanover School Division, after having served the previous 14 years in school administration as a Principal and Vice-Principal within the St. James-Assiniboia School Division in Winnipeg.  Mr. Mead most recently held the position of Principal at the George Waters Middle School in Winnipeg. Gr. 8s Registering for Next Year at SRSS

  March is a busy month for the Grade 8s as they will be registering for the SRSS. Students and parents will be receiving information about upcoming events from our school as well as directly from the SRSS. Registration is due by March 24. Optimistic Gr. 8 Concert Band

Members of the Grade 8 Concert Band travelled to Winnipeg to participate in the Optimist Band Festival, where they received a rating of 3 gold stars! Mrs. Sawatzky is very proud of their performance and the hard work leading up to it, and the excellent way they represented our school. Way to go, Mitchell Musicians!
