You may have noticed some new fencing that has gone up at MMS today and are wondering what is going on. We’re happy to inform you that the long awaited construction of 4 additional classrooms at MMS is about to begin! The construction will take place on the south side of MMS, in the space where the bike racks were recently located. Click here to see a picture of the building site.
The first project, however, will be to add some additional parking spaces in the existing green space in front of the bus loop. Click here to see where this parking will be added. Note that during the month of June, this work may have some impact on morning arrival and afternoon pick up for students who are driven to school. We thank you for your patience during this period of construction. Please remember to drive safely in the area to ensure the safety of our students.
Finally, please remind your student(s) to give a wide berth to the areas of construction, both now, and during the summer.
