On Monday, May 9 Mitchell Middle School students carried out our annual Town Cleanup event. Groups of teachers and students spread out all over Mitchell to pick up litter to help beautify our community. Thanks for driving safely around our students!
The Power Smart Manitoba Games are the province’s largest ongoing multi-sport program bringing together participants from across the province. Mr. Andrew Mead has been appointed to the position of Principal at Mitchell Middle School, effective fall 2016. Mr. Mead joins the Hanover School Division, after having served the previous 14 years in school administration as a Principal and Vice-Principal within the St. James-Assiniboia School Division in Winnipeg. Members of the Grade 8 Concert Band travelled to Winnipeg to participate in the Optimist Band Festival, where they received a rating of 3 gold stars!
